Disciplinary Powers of the Board
The Board may revoke, suspend or annul a registration, or impose a civil penalty in an amount no more that $2,000 for each violation, upon satisfactory proof that any person has violated the provisions of the West Virginia State Code - Architects’ Practice Act and the Rules of the West Virginia Board of Architects.
Disciplinary Proceedings
Charges against any person involving any matter coming within the jurisdiction of the Board shall be in writing and shall be filed with the Board. Such charges, at the discretion of the Board, shall be heard within a reasonable time. To file a complaint against a registrant, please complete the Complaint Form and send it to the Board office.
